Excellence is not chance but a "Habit"!
Habit
- Habit refers to what we does daily repeatedly over time with same pattern. It require little will power as muscle memory and brain functioning starts working to repeat it. As we do one thing daily on same time our brain tells to do it on same time and gets ready to do it with very little will power, thoughts, or any other emotional change.
- Example: daily morning water drinker find it hard to drink water on morning when they start, as they have to choose, start and execute the task. But with time, this task gets automated and their this morning ritual becomes automatic.
- Example: A person who study daily same sub on same time finds it easy to study and keep doing it daily as its easy for him and gets selected in a exam.
Willpower
- This is the limited capacity of our brain to choose and do something for a during of time. It is present daily in limited quantity which when get exhausted by choosing, starting and executing the task. When it gets exhausted wholly our brain starts resisting choosing and executing any tasks. But if the task gets repeated daily on same time, it require less willpower to choose, start and execute the task. So, if a task gets repeated daily, after few days it will require little willpower to choose, start and execute the task. It helps to get into habit of something.

Habit and Willpower use:
Keep doing same things daily, at start you will use almost all will power but as few days pass it will keep using less willpower day by day and after 21 days it will be ingrained in yourself of doing it and becomes your habit.
For UPSC and NEET, making habit of studying daily in same order makes it easier for us to do it. By time it uses less willpower and becomes our habit. Then we will be doing same study task daily for long hours easily and our habit will take us to what we wanted. Use it now by doing study at whatever way daily and it will be ingrained in you as a Habit. As you are daily studying, your test score will start increasing, showing that your habit is increasing your score in mock test. Using little willpower to start a task and you will be able to increasing few marks every day. Just repeating daily and it will really become easier day by day in 21 day. On 22nd day, you will automatically pick the sub and will start studying as this will be easiest task for you as it is ingrained in your muscle memory, brain memory, brain functioning and will be easy to execute then other tasks. Hence your daily automatic working "HABIT" is taking you to result you wanted, the excellence you wanted. Keeping doing task on same time you have decided to do daily.
Hence, Excellence is not chance but a "Habit"!
